OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to crushing hazards: a) L&K Auto & Truck Service, Inc. - Toledo, Ohio: On or about November 19, 2013, employees were exposed to crush-by injuries in that the Forward Mfg. Co. two post surface mounted automotive lift (model 8000A; s/n 037KB3337) was used to lift a vehicle that exceeded the manufacturer's rated load capacity. No additional abatement information is needed for this item.
