29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) On or about December 3, 2013, and at times prior, employees in the detail area were exposed to injury where no eyewash station was in the immediate work area. The employees routinely use corrosive materials when cleaning vehicles. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(ii): There was a defect or evidence of damage that could have exposed an employee to injury and the defective or damaged item was not removed from service and an employee was using it before repairs and tests necessary to render the equipment safe were made: a) On or about December 3, 2013, and at times prior, employees in the detial area were exposed to electrical shock hazards where an extension cord used to power the hand held buffer. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
