On or about December 5, 2013, on top of a structure, three employees performing framing operations were not wearing hard hats, exposing themselves to an overhead hazard such as being hit being hit by flying trusses.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  a. On or about December 5, 2013, on top of a structure, an employee using a Hitachi Pneumatic air nail gun was not wearing safety glasses, exposing himself to being hit by nails or flying debris.

On or about December 5, 2013, on top of a structure, three employees performing framing operations were not protected from an 9-foot 3-inch fall hazard by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or any alternative fall protection.
