29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iii): The repair splice in a hard service flexible cord No. 12 or larger did not retain the insulation, outer sheath properties, and usage characteristics of the cord which was being used: On or about December 13, 2013, at Infiniti of Duluth, 3090 Satellite Blvd, Duluth, Georgia: Three employees performing framing and drywall work were exposed to mild electric shock hazards when they used a Dewalt D28715 Chop Saw with a damaged power cord that had the insulation sheathing removed exposing the the live conductors beneath the tape covering the splice in the cord.
