29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.  a)  Jobsite located at apartments 823 and 827, Howard Street, Savannah GA - On or about February 11, 2014, employees were using hand power tools such as pneumatic nail guns, drills and circular saw without the use of safety glasses, exposing employees to eye injuries from ricocheting and flying debris.     ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a)  Jobsite located at apartments 823 and 827, Howard Street, Savannah GA-On or about February 11, 2014, employees who were working on a flat surface installing ply-wood sheathing (decking) were was working over open truss and near the unguarded edge, resulting in a 10-foot fall hazard.                                                                                                                                 ABATEMENT CERTIFICATON IS NOT REQUIRED
