At the site, frequent and regular inspections were not conducted to assure compliance with safety requirements such as, but not limited to, the use of safety glasses when using nail guns and fall protection equipment during roof drip edge construction.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   a. At the site, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard ranging from 10 feet to 18 feet high while installing drip edge at a single story house with a roof pitch of 6 to 12.
