Crossbraces were used as a means of access.  a- 33 Emerald Road, Robbinsville NJ: On or about 04/11/14, company employees performing exterior brick installation and other masonry work from a prefabricated, tubular, welded framed scaffold were exposed to falls in excess of 13 feet 2 inches to the ground surface below when they were not provided with ladders or direct access to the scaffold's walking/working surface and utilized the scaffold's crossbraces and end frame rungs.
