29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) Construction Site: On or about April 21, 2014, and at times prior, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately twenty-four feet to the ground below while replacing damaged steel roofing material on a 6:12 pitch roof.
