29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   a) 505 Powers Ferry Road SE, Marietta, GA; Employees were  exposed to fall hazards of approximately nine feet while working from a 7 X 12 sloped roof, installing roof shingles without the use of fall protection systems.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:   a) 505 Powers Ferry Road SE, Marietta, GA; The employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately nine feet as employees were allowed to access a ladder with side rails that were raised approximately 1.5 feet above the landing.
