An employee using pneumatic nail guns was exposed to eye injuries from flying debris, as he was not wearing protective wearing eye while installing floor joists.

29 CFR 1926.405(b)(2): In energized installations, each outlet box did not have a cover, faceplate, or fixture canopy:     a) Interior of residence located at 4209 Caveat Court, Fairburn, Georgia. Employees were exposed to electrical shock and/or burns while connecting and disconnecting electric power tools, such as circular saws, to a portable electrical receptacle that did not have a cover to prevent accidental contact with live electrical conductors and connections.

Employees using power tools, connected to an uncovered electrical outlet box, were exposed to electrical shock and/or burns as the electrical conductors were running through standing pools of water. The electrical conductors were not marked as approved for use in damp or wet environments.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.      a) Exterior top plate of residence at 4209 Caveat Court, lot 279 of the Hampton Oaks subdivision, Fairburn, Georgia. An employee installing floor joists, while working from an unprotected exterior top plate without a personal fall arrest system, was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10-feet 1-inch.     The Armando Ramirez Alberto was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 535578, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on February 13, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 4531 Ridge Mill Terrace, Douglasville, Georgia.     The Armando Ramirez Alberto was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 960735, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on May 23, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 68 of the Regency Oaks subdivision in Atlanta, Georgia
