29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected from falling to that lower level. Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employees on each type of scaffold. Paragraph (g)(2) of this section addresses fall protection for scaffold erectors and dismantlers:  a. On or about May 20, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee was exposed to falls in excess of 20 feet while working from atop a stack of 4'X8' plywood sheeting which was suspended atop the forks of a rough terrain forklift.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure:   a. On or about May 20, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, employees installing the roof sheeting and the roof trusses were exposed to falls of approximately 20 feet (two stories) due to a lack of fall protection.   Dromin Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard  which was contained in OSHA inspection number 902849, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on November 22, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at Golden Gate Drive & London Bridge Drive, Lot 115 in Mokena, IL.
