North Brunswick, NJ 08902:  Employee(s) operating a pneumatic nail guns accomplishing roofing tasks, such as attaching shingles to the roof and other tasks, were not wearing any eye and or face protection thereby exposing themselves to eye and face injuries from flying debris. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above the lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.502(k) developed and implemented.      671 Georges Rd., North Brunswick, NJ:  Employees were performing roofing operations at a height of approximately 20 feet from the eave to the ground below with no fall protection in place, exposing them to fall hazards.        Condition observed on or about May 29, 2014.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed.        671 Georges Rd. North Brunswick, NJ 08902:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet as they were using a ladder that was not secured and did not extend 3 feet above the working surface to allow for safe access on and off the roof to the second level of the residence.         Condition observed on or about.  May 29, 2014.
