29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(i): Each employee on walking/working surfaces was not protected from falling through holes (including skylights) more than 6 feet (1.8 m) above lower levels, by personal fall arrest systems, covers, or guardrail systems erected around such holes.  a) 122 Christopher Columbus Drive, Jersey City, NJ - Area Adjacent to Right Hand Side of Entry Door:   Employees engaged in construction work were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet to the ground below as a guard rail system was not in place and fall protection was not utilized.        Violation observed on or about 5/2/14.

29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement:  a)  122 Christopher Columbus Drive, Jersey City, NJ  Employees were exposed to impalement hazards as there was unprotected rebar throughout the work area.  Violation observed on or about 5/2/14.
