29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or another provision in paragraph (b) of this section which provides for an alternative fall protection measure:    (a)Executive Coatings and Contracting Corporation at 1470 S Quebec Way, Denver, CO: On 8/15/14, the employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or another provision in paragraph (b) of this section which provides for an alternative fall protection measure.  One employee was painting siding on multi-story townhomes.  The employee was working at approximate heights of twenty to thirty feet above ground level while painting siding of Buildings 53-56 and 221-224 while standing upon the second story roofs.  The employee was not protected by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  The employer did not ensure that the employee was provided fall protection.  This condition exposed the employee to fall hazards of approximately twenty feet.    Executive Coatings and Contracting Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Administration Standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection 313715245, Citation 2, Item 1 and was issued on November 25, 2009, and affirmed as a final order on August 20, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 8753-8791 Cornell Avenue, Lakewood, Colorado.    Executive Coatings and Contracting Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Administration Standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection 313714222, Citation 1, Item 1 and was issued on October 15, 2009, and affirmed as a final order on October 30, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at 5425 S Federal Circle, Littleton, Colorado.
