29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 10/20/2014 at the Bristol Commons Façade Construction Project, the employees were working from an upper level with no fall protection system in use. Eric Field DBA Eric Field Carpentry was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1001978, citation number 01, item number 002a and was affirmed as a final order on 08/02/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 56 Center Street in Southington, CT.
