29 CFR 1910.305(j)(2)(v): A receptacle installed outdoors in a location protected from the weather or in other damp locations did not have an enclosure for the receptacle that was weatherproof when the receptacle was covered (attachment plug cap not inserted and receptacle covers closed):  (a)  Electrical panel board near the 177 jig:  On October 23, 2014 and at times prior to; the employer failed to provide covers for the 20 amp, 120 VAC waterproof receptacles exposing employees working around the panel to electrical shock hazards.  (b)  Electrical panel in the painter's area:  On October 23, 2014 and at times prior to; the employer failed to provide covers for the 50 amp, 480 VAC, waterproof receptacles exposing employees working around the panel to electrical shock hazards.  (c)  At the wet dock next to boat 173:  On October 23, 2014 and at times prior to; the employer failed to provide covers for the 50 amp, 480 VAC waterproof receptacles exposing employees working around the panel to electrical shock hazards.

29 CFR 1915.56(b)(2): Welding cable was not free from repair or splices for a minimum distance of 10 feet from the cable end to which the electrode holder was connected:  (a)  Near the 178 Stern Section:  On October 23, 2014 and at times prior to; employees were issued welding whips that had damage and repair within 10 feet of the electrode holder, exposing employees to electrical shock hazards during welding operations.
