29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(1)(iv): The Exposure Control Plan was not reviewed and updated at least annually and whenever necessary to reflect new or modified tasks and procedures which affect occupational exposure and to reflect new or revised employee positions with occupational exposure. Amara Healthcare & Rehab, Augusta, GA - Employees, such as nurses (RN's LPN's or CNA's) and housekeeping staff, were potentially exposed to blood and/or body fluid while caring for residents at the nursing home. The written exposure control plan was not tailored to the site and was missing elements such, as, but not limited to, (a) exposure determination, (b) housekeeping schedule, (c) personal protective equipment required for each job task, (d) engineering and work practice controls, and (e) appropriate disinfectant, on or about 11/05/14.
