On November 18, 2014, Rt. 4, Chalan Pago, employees removing nails from wood and working in and around the construction site were not provided hard hats, safety glasses, and protective footwear.

29 CFR 1926.28(a): The employer is responsible for requiring the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment in all operations where there is an exposure to hazardous conditions or where this part indicates the need for using such equipment to reduce the hazards to the employees.   a.  On November 18, 2014, Rt. 4, Chalan Pago, the employer did not require two employees to wear personal protective gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, and protective footwear while working at the construction site.
