29 CFR 1910.106(e)(6)(i): Adequate precautions were not taken to prevent the ignition of flammable vapors:  Inside the paint mixing room, the employer is failing to protect employees from fire and explosion hazards in that; a drum used to store and dispense a flammable lacquer thinner was not standing on a metallic floor plate or bonded to a grounding point that prevents the discharge of static electricity.  Abatement of the above violation was verified at the time of inspection, no certification is required.

29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use:  Inside the paint spray booth the employer is failing to protect employees from respiratory hazards including, but not necessarily limited to, occupationally developed asthma and respiratory distress and in that; the employer does not have a written respiratory protection program established for employees that are required to use supplied air respirators for protection from airborne concentrations of chemicals including but not necessarily limited to Hexamethylene Diisocyanate and 1,6-Hexamethylene Diisocyanate Homopolymer.  Abatement certification is required for this violation.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citations.
