29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5)(i): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the identity of the chemical contained therein:   (a) EPS Doublet at 4690 Joilet Street, Denver, CO: On and before February 17th, 2015, the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the identity of the chemical contained therein.  Employees used paper towels to apply resin stored in an unlabeled secondary metal container to screens used during the screenprinting process. Additionally, the same work area, contained unlabeled buckets of paint used for the screenprinting process.. The containers used to store these chemicals did not have labeling that would identify the contents of the containers. This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards.

Employees were required to wear Moldex 7000 Series Reusable Half-Mask respirators with OV cartridges when working with epoxy resins used in the screenprinting process. The employer had not established or maintained a written respiratory protection program.  This condition potentially exposed employees to a respiratory hazard.

This condition potentially exposed employees to a respiratory hazard.  Note:  The employer may discontinue an employee's medical evaluations when the employee is no longer required to use a respirator.
