29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries:    (a) Outside Veg Crew Office: On or about 10 March 2015 and at times prior thereto, a dry chemical portable fire extinguisher was located on the floor.    The National Parks Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 952970, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 24 February 2014, with respect to the Alan Bible Visitor Center workplace located at Lake Mead Recreation Area, 601 Great Basin Hwy, Boulder City, NV 89005.

The National Parks Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 994323, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 02 February 2015, with respect to the Shrine of the Ages workplace located at Grand Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon Village, AZ 86023.
