OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards from falling or collapsing wood trusses: Lorbiecki Builders LLC, at the site located at 6521 Kurey Dr., Appleton, WI: On and about 3/13/15, employees erecting the roof truss system on a single story house were exposed to falls and crushing hazards while working on and under trusses that had not been braced to resist rolling over or collapsing due to incomplete top chord lateral bracing, the lack of adequate top chord diagonal bracing and the lack of bottom chord and web member lateral and diagonal bracing. Employees were also exposed to struck by hazards from falling trusses that were being lifted with a chain sling rigged to a single point on the trusses.
