29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift:    497 Terry Pkwy, Terrytown, LA:  On or about April 22, 2015, on the east side of the jobsite, the employer allowed employees to utilize a Genie aerial lift without adequate fall protection in order to install a sign on the side of the building.    Alternative Signs & Graphics, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 902510, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/4/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 2106 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA 70002.    Pursuant to 20 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees utilize adequate fall protection while working from an aerial lift.
