29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Location - Building#9, 40 Riverpath Drive, Framingham, MA: On or about May 20, 2015, the fall protection system in use by the employee working from the roof was not adequate, in that the employees were tied off at the end of their lifeline, which would have resulted in a fall greater than 6 feet during a fall event.
