Soap was not provided or available onsite.  Towels or other drying methods were not provided.  Employees had paint on their fingers and hands.  The warning label on the paint container said For skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water.  Employees were exposed to the hazards of contacting the paint.

The paint used was Glidden Gripper White Primer and Sealer GPG-0000.  Employees were exposed to the hazards of the paint contacting their eyes and being struck in the eye by chips of concrete.  (b) At the project, gloves were not worn while painting with Glidden Gripper White Primer and Sealer GPG-0000.  Employees had paint on their hands.  Employees were exposed to the hazard of contacting the paint.  (c) At the project, safety toe shoes were not worn, as sandals were worn when carrying five gallon buckets of paint.  Employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck by buckets that contained five gallons of paint.
