29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system:  a. On or about July 28, 2015, employees working in close proximity to the edge of a low-slope roof were not protected from falling.  Preferred Roofing Services, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 709978, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 5622 Amanda Lane, Orchard Park, NY, 14127.  Preferred Roofing Services, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 97648, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 12, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 1300 River Valley Boulevard, Lancaster, OH, 43130.
