Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system:    a) On or about 9/8/15 at a new store construction project at the Quaker Crossing Retail Center located at 3275 North Benzing Road, Orchard Park, New York; employees installing roof insulation and materials were not protected from falling approximately 20 feet.    NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    a) On or about 9/8/15 at a new store construction project at the Quaker Crossing Retail Center located at 3275 North Benzing Road, Orchard Park, New York; employees were installing underlayment on a roof with a 6 in 12 pitch and an unprotected edge of more than 20 feet. There were no fall protection systems in place.    NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Employees had to climb around the eaves to access the roof.    NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
