An employee was splashed in the eyes with a corrosive chemical.  The employer did not certify that the personal protective equipment (PPE) evaluation had been conducted, and/or did not ensure that the PPE was worn, on or about 09/24/15. 29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:     Wild Heaven Craft Beers, LLC -Decatur, GA - Employees were required to pump and pour corrosive cleaning chemicals, such as, but are not limited to Lerapur 283  (containing 25-50% sodium hydroxide),  Lerasept PAA (containing peroxyacetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid and phosphonic acid), and Leracid K-MS10 (containing 25-50% nitric acid and 15-35% phosphoric acid) into other smaller containers to clean.  An employee was splashed in the eyes, and chemical resistant goggles were not used, on or about 09/24/15.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
