29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.      (a)  On or about November 16, 2015, while performing roofing activities on an existing warehouse, the employees were not protected from a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet at the end of the roof.    (b)  On or about November 16, 2015, while performing roofing activities on an existing warehouse, the employer's warning line system did not adequately protect employees from entering an area of the roof that contained unprotected skylights.    Preferred Roofing Services, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 709978, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 5622 Amanda Lane, Orchard Park, NY, 14127.     Preferred Roofing Services, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 97648, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 12, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 1300 River Valley Boulevard, Lancaster, OH, 43130.
