NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials, and equipment to be conducted by a competent person designated by the employer was not provided by the employer who was responsible to initiate and maintain an accident prevention program: a) Mary Lane, Springside at Robbinsville, Robbinsville, NJ: On or about January 4, 2016, the employer, High Quality Builders, Inc., had not initiated a program for a competent person to conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite, to identify hazards and/or stop the work in the event workers were placed in a hazardous condition. As such employees were conducting sheathing activities without proper use of fall protection. The employees were using an improperly secured man basket, raised on the forks of a Terex RTFL to access the upper areas of the structure. The employee in the basket was not properly anchored. The operator of the Terex lift was not properly trained / certified. Additionally, employees using pneumatic nail guns and circular saws were not using eye or face protection. High Quality Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1078439, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/2/15, with respect to a workplace located Mary Lane, Springside at Robbinsville, Robbinsville, NJ. High Quality Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1058961, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/06/2015, with respect to a workplace located at Dickman Dr. & Pershing Blvd Lavallette, NJ.
