29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   Workers were engaged in residential construction activities re-roofing an existing single-family building. Workers were installing roofing material on the upper roof areas exposed to potential fall hazards between 14.0 and 32.0 feet in that a proper fall protection system was not utilized.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.   Workers were engaged in residential construction activities re-roofing an existing single-family building. Workers were installing roofing material on the upper roof areas exposed to potential fall hazards between 14.0 and 32.0 feet in that the workers were not properly trained in fall protection criteria.
