29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse:    A.  On or about March 9, 2016:  In the following locations boxes were not interlocked and were in danger of sliding and collapse:    1.  Rest Room:  Boxes of hangers, bags and other accessories were stacked on top of each other in the rest room 7 feet 4 1/2 inches high.  Bottom boxes had broken and the stack was leaning.    2.  Rear Stock Room:  Shoe boxes on the overhead shelf near the desk were unsafely stacked and in danger of toppling on employees below.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed:    A.  On or about March 9, 2016, Rear Stock Room:  Emergency exit route was blocked by the storage of a trash barrel; a trash bag; recycled cardboard; a folding table; and boxes containing shoes, hangers, handbags and clothing. Exit access was reduced to as low as 13 inches along the route.    Guess? Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.37(a)(3)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 897791, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 16, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at Jersey Gardens Mall, Linden, New Jersey.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii): The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage:      A.  On or about March 9, 2016, Rear Stock Room:  In the following instances, the space in front of electrical panel boxes was used for storage:    1.  Panel THP-780, rated at 480Y/277V 3 phase, was blocked by the storage of eight storage shelves, an 8-foot Louisville step ladder and a 6-foot Louisville step ladder.    2.  Panel TLP-780, rated at 208Y/120V single phase, was blocked by the storage of six stacked boxes of clothes, a single box of clothes and a box of hangers.      Guess?, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.303(g)(1)(ii)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 897791, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 16, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at Jersey Gardens Mall, Linden, New Jersey.
