29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE):    Location:  17 Eastern Drive, Middletown, CT 06457      A workplace hazard assessment to determine the necessity and appropriate types of personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees performing tasks, such as but not limited to cutting meat on a band saw and other job tasks, was not conducted.      Meadow Meat Company, Incorporated was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 952828, citation number 01, item number 002b, issued on 03/19/2014 with respect to a workplace located at 17 Eastern Drive, Middletown, and became a final order on 04/08/2014.
