This exposure exceeded the Permissible Exposure Limit of 5 mg/m3 by 12.4 times. This exposure also exceeded the 50 mg/m3 Maximum Use Concentration (MUC) of the employee's half face air-purifying respirator by 1.2 times. Condition observed on or about June 28, 2016.

This value exceeded the airborne concentration of 5 mg/m3 for Barium Sulfate listed in Table Z-1, by 12.4 times. b) An employee wearing North half face air purifying respirator and spray painting product containing Barium Sulfate was exposed to 27 mg/m3 of Barium Sulfate for an 8-hour TWA (zero exposures were assumed for unsampled time). This value exceeded the airborne concentration of 5 mg/m3 for Barium Sulfate listed in Table Z-1, by 5.4 times. Condition observed on or about June 28, 2016.
