29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Worksite was located at 801 Jersey Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07310 An employee was exposed to fall hazards as he was not protected by fall protection while working in proximity to the unguarded leading edge of the building seven stories up from the ground. Violation was observed on or about 5/4/2016.
