29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees shall be provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.  On or about October 4, 2016, employees performing residential siding operations were exposed to potential eye or face injury when they operated a pneumatic nail gun the employer failed to ensure they wore eye protection.   No abatement documentation or certification is required of this item.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected from falling to that lower level. Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employees on each type of scaffold. Paragraph (g)(2) of this section addresses fall protection for scaffold erectors and dismantlers.  On or about October 4, 2016, employees performing residential siding installation from a scaffold were exposed to a fall hazard of 13.9' when the employer failed to ensure fall protection was utilized.  No Abatement documentation or certification is required for this item.
