29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   a) QuickChek store/intersection of Ridgedale Ave. & Hanover Ave., Cedar Knolls, NJ  Employees performing framing work on a commercial building approximately 17-feet above the ground surface were not protected from fall hazards.   Violation was occurred on or about 09/29/2016.    The  Express Construction 4 LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1125723, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/22/2016 with respect to a workplace located at 730 North Ave., Union, NJ.  The  Express Construction 4 LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1069708, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/27/2015 with respect to a workplace located at Karlsburg Road, Monroe, . NY 10950.
