29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a) On or about 12/12/16 at 1210 East Avenue, Rochester, New York; an employee was picking up debris on the ground without wearing a hard hat while three employees worked above him at a height of 18 feet tearing off a roof and edging materials and dropping them onto the ground below. Employee was exposed to being struck in the head by pieces of wood with nails and roofing materials dropping from a height of 18 feet. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
