The written Hazard Communication Program was not updated to include Global Harmonization elements, an updated Safety Data Sheet master library that included, but were not limited to propane, compressed oxygen and acetylene, and methods the employer would use to inform employees of non-routine hazards.        Violation occurred on or about January 26, 2017

Elizabeth Ave., Linden, NJ - Production Area     Employees were not provided effective training on hazardous chemicals used daily in their work area.  Employees engaged in the repair of motor vehicles used hazardous chemicals, which included, but were not limited to, Acetylene, Compressed Oxygen, Hydraulic Fluids, and window washing fluids on a daily basis and were not provided training on their hazards. Elizabeth Ave., Linden, NJ - Production Area    The employer did not establish an energy control program that included energy control procedures, employee training, and complete periodic inspections.  Employees engaged in the manufacture of cast metal sprinkler parts performed maintenance on equipment that included, but was not limited to Hannifin Hydraulics presses without being provided a written energy control plan, employee training for specific equipment, and the employer completing periodic inspections.    Violation occurred on or about January 26, 2017
