29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system:        On or about March 15, 2017, an employee was exposed to a fall of over 25 feet while walking/working from the roof of a multi-residential property while installing aluminum fascia, the employer did not ensure the employee was protected from a fall.      Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:     On or about March 15, 2017, employees performing construction activities on the roof of a multi-residential property were not trained to recognize and minimize the hazards associated with a fall, exposing the employees to the hazards associated with a fall.        Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
