29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system: On or about March 15, 2017, an employee was exposed to a fall of over 25 feet while walking/working from the roof of a multi-residential property while installing aluminum fascia, the employer did not ensure the employee was protected from a fall. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
