This violation was most recently observed along Myrtle Avenue between 11th Street and 12th Street in Boise, where two employees of Alta Construction, Inc. were working in an excavation approximately 7.6' wide by approximately 80' long and approximately 6.7' - 7.7' deep.  Employees were working in the east portion of the excavation, which was also the deepest portion, and approximately 6' away from a busy road leading into downtown.
