29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): (a) Northern Colorado Health Alliance, 302 3rd St SE, Loveland, CO 80537: On or before May 12, 2017, the employer did not develop or implement a hazard communication. Employees were exposed to refrigerant in a faulty air conditioning unit. The employer did not communicate information to employees regarding chemical hazards in the workplace. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employers shall provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area. Information and training may be designed to cover categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals. Chemical-specific information must always be available through labels and safety data sheets. (a) Northern Colorado Health Alliance, 302 3rd St SE, Loveland, CO 80537: On or before May 12, 2017, the employer did not provide training to employees regarding chemicals in the workplace. Employees were exposed to refrigerant in a faulty air conditioning unit. The employer did not communicate information to employees regarding chemical hazards in the workplace.
