29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a)  At 31455 Shearwater Dr., Spanish Fort, Alabama:  On or about July 13, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employee to work from the trusses without fall protection exposing him to a fall hazard of 18 feet to the concrete floor below.  b)  At 31455 Shearwater Dr., Spanish Fort, Alabama:  On or about July 13, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employee to work from the top of framed walls without fall protection exposing him to a fall hazard of 9.4 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  a)  At 31455 Shearwater Dr., Spanish Fort, Alabama:  On or about July 13, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employee to perform framing activities from heights of upt to 18 feet and the employees had not been trained on fall protection to include but not limited to hazards associated with falls and how to set up fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of up to 18 feet to the ground below.
