29 CFR 1926.150(c)(1)(vi): A fire extinguisher, rated not less than 10B, was not provided wherever more than 5 gallons of flammable or combustible liquids or 5 pounds of flammable gas were being used on the jobsite:  a) On or about 8/2/2017, At the jobsite:  Employees were utilizing two containers of LP gas with open flame burners to facilitate the installation of roofing material.  No fire extinguisher was provided on the roof elevation.   Abatement certification is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a) On or about 8/2/2017, At the jobsite:  Employees were utilizing an aluminum ladder to access a low sloped roof.  The side rails of the ladder did not extend three feet past the surface of the roof.       Abatement certification is required for this item.
