The employer, Northeastern Commercial Roofing and Restoration was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926. 102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1079459  citation number 1item number2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/16/17, with respect to a workplace located at 9427 Maynard Dr, Marcy NY 13403.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   a) 216 Seward Ave, Utica, NY 13502, On or about 8/16/17:  Employees were performing roofing activities on a 9/12 pitch roof that had a total fall distance of 12 feet 10  inches from the eaves edge without using Fall Protection Equipment.    The employer, Northeastern Commercial Roofing and Restoration,  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11)which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1079459, citation number 1, item number 4a  and was affirmed as a final order on 10/16/15 with respect to a workplace located at 9427 Maynard Dr, Marcy, NY .
