29 CFR 1910.243(c)(1): General requirements. Abrasive wheels shall be used only on machine provided with safety guards as defined in paragraph (c) (1) through (4) of this section. Location - Shop On or about August 24, 2017, employer did not ensure that the abrasive wheel installed on the portable angle grinder (DeWalt, Model: D28402) was provided with safety guard, exposing employees to the hazards of being struck by flying debris.
