29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace:    a.  On or about November 17, 2017, in the facility, employees were required to wear positive pressure tight fitting respirators and offered to wear negative pressure respiratory protection.  The employees had not been provided with medical evaluations, thereby exposing  the employees to hazards associated with the use of respirators.

On or about November 17, 2017, in the facility, employees were required to wear positive pressure tight fitting respirators and offered to wear negative pressure respirators.  The employer did not provide employees with a quantitative or qualitative fit test, thereby exposing employees to chemicals contained in automotive paint including, but not limited to toluene.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:    a.  On or about November 17, 2017, in the facility,      employees had not been trained on the hazards to which they were exposed.  Employee exposure included, but was not limited to chemicals in automotive paints including but not limited to toluene.
