29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use(Construction Reference 1926.103):     (a) A written Respiratory Protection Program was not developed to protect employees required to use respirators. Employees used half face 3M (8210-N95) respirators while sawing limestone.

29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: (Construction Reference 1926.103)    (a) A bearded employee was using a 3M (8210-N95) dust mask respirator.  The facial hair did not allow for the effective sealing of the respirator to protect against air borne particulates while saw cutting limestone blocks.
