29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets.  On or about 7 December 2017, and at times prior thereto, six workers were performing framing activities without the use of hard hats, exposing them to the hazard of being struck by materials, tools, and debris.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.  On or about 7 December 2017, and at times prior thereto, a framer was using a pneumatic nail gun without the use of eye protection, exposing the framer to the hazard of being struck in the eye(s) by flying debris or projectiles.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b).  On or about 7 December 2017, and at times prior thereto, a framer was on the 1st level top plate of a residence under construction without fall protection, exposing the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 11 feet 7 inches to the slab below.  EROD, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1158314, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/27/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 145 Gallatin Court, Austin, TX 78737.
