29 CFR 1910.37(a)(2): Exit routes were not arranged so that employees would not have to travel toward a high hazard area, nor was the path of travel effectively shielded from the high hazard area by suitable partitions or other physical barriers:     a) Commercial facility at 6 Berry Drive, in Hainesport, NJ, 08036  Parts Storage Area: Employees were exposed to potential fire hazards when working in the back of the parts storage shelves where no alternate exit route existed which would require employees to travel towards a hazard in the event of a fire, which was observed and occurred on or about 11/16/17.     NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4): Signs were not posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge when the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge was not immediately apparent:    a) Commercial facility at 6 Berry Drive, in Hainesport, NJ, 08036  Rear exit access: Employees were exposed to potential fire hazards where exit line of sight was not maintained and exit access was not immediately apparent due to the storage and stacking of materials around the exit and above the exit sign, which occurred and was observed on or about 11/16/17.     NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.176(a): Aisle(s) and passageway(s) were not kept clear and in good repair with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard.    a) Commercial facility at 6 Berry Drive, in Hainesport, NJ, 08036, Ramp between dock and exterior: Employees were exposed to potential load shifting and/or forklift collapse due to the passageway not being maintained including but not limited to a crack and spalling in the concrete surface of the ramp of up to 12 inches and broken uneven surface created by the deteriorated metal ramp at the base of the concrete ramp, which occurred and was observed on or about 11/16/17.    NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
